You can't take 2 heavy weapons in that first Marine squad so you'll have to drop a Lascannon, or make them Havocs. If you make them Havocs they'll be more expensive so don't just rename them.Originally Posted by MADDNESS
As for the Tau Vehicle, what exactly are you planning to do with it? Taking a Hammerhead and putting a Chaos mark on it does not make it a Chaos Hammerhead. You can only use what's in the Codex, nothing else.

i ment chaos decorations anyway it says in the codex if you do not have a spiecal wepon in the unit you may choose to select an additonal heavy wepon...
No. Read it again.Originally Posted by MADDNESS

Special weapons ARE NOT the same as Heavy Weapons.
Heavy Weapons: Lascannon, Autocannon, Heavy Bolter, Missile Launcher.
Special Weapons: Plasma Gun, Flamer, Meltagun, Plasma Pistol.
Your options are:
0 Heavy, 0 Special
1 Heavy, 0 Special
1 Heavy, 1 Special
0 Heavy, 2 Special
I gathered that you'll be putting Chaos Decor on the vehicles, but what are you USING it for? Terrain? In that case do whatever you want with it. But like I said, putting a Mark of Chaos on a Hammerhead doesn't make it a Chaos Hammerhead.

I suggest you drop the termies for more men and/or vechiles like rhinos, bikes, preds, etc, but I don't know how you play. You may want to upgrade your HQ to a sorceror, but he seems fine to me. The only other things that I would suggest would be to get more men or some veteran skills and to drop the second plasma pistol. The new rules about gets hot say that with two plasma pistols in the squad the'll blow up on a roll of 2 instead of a roll of 1.
P.S. Zveroboy is right
P.S.S. You can't get the hammerhead to act like a hammerhead. It could act like a pred or something with your opponent's permission, but you can't use it as a hammerhead otherwise everyone would do this and there would be no point in the armies. They would have no disadvantages. E.g. a eldar army with soome blood angels veteran squads for cc and some broadsides and pahtinders for backup and a monolith for heavy support, etc.
"DICE FOR THE DICE GOD!"
And the almighty Dice God said to his followers "Thou shalt not speak ye words "anything but a one" For thou whoever'st speaketh this blasphemy will be cursed with thy rolls being of one".
He's right about the rules by the way. About the list... I'd drop the termies. I'm a member of the termies-are-not-worth-the-cost club. For their cost you could get a better squad of possesed, raptors, bikes, daemons, or a havok squad. I think a havoc squad is in order here. Let them blow up any vehicles coming toward you with but loads of boyz in the back. Use the pts from the termies or drop a dred. I'd get some daemons. Daemonetts or Bloodletters would be a nice surprise. If you could tell us a bit more about the opponents army I'm sure we can offer more specific advice. Also do you mind giving any of your units marks? Or are you trying to have an unmarked army?
OMG i never said i want a chaos hammer head i said can i put chaos decorations on my hammer head get it right people.
Heres some of the army lists i know ( not in detail) they'll be changing all the time because the more people you beat the bigger the army
Adrenal glands, bonesward, laswhip, sything talons, warp blast, that 2+ save thing
9 Genestealers with extended carapace
4 ripper swarms
Zoanthrope with warpblast and 2+ save ting
10x blood claws with banner
10x grey hunters with banner
libarien with stuff
5 terminators with heavy flamer, assualt cannon 2 chainfists
10 troops with rocket launcher and flamer
10 troops with rocket launcher and flamer
5 assualt marines
Some doctrine thing
30 imperial gaurd
2 leamn russ's
im teaming up with this team there weak
there are the army lists you asked for! its only some of them
by the way its not how many plasma weapons in a squad its how may shots it has fired. e.g a rapid firing pistol or gun (plasma) over haets on a 1 or a 2.
1 shot it over heats on a 1.
i like ure list, drop a marine any where and give him daemonic speed for him to get into combat quicker (or infiltrate). try an give asp champs and lords visage i find it very useful as high initiative models can run down quite a few points. and visage makes it easier for them to run
Berrossus i like your idea about the speed but ive maxed out his points... sorry and as for the visage im only doing it for the CC sqaud because the shooty sqaud never wins combat and the CC combined with the Deamon prince is the best CC in the game thanks!
I think the problem is that nobody knows what the hell you're on about or why you're doing this. Probably one of the reasons you have neutral rep at the moment.Originally Posted by MADDNESS

The point about the DP is a very valid one. Yes, you can't give him any more daemonic abilities, but he's a daemon prince so he probably doesn't need both d.armour and d.aura. Drop the d.armour and you have room for speed. Giving a DP a movement method is a great way to maximise their potential-they don't gear them towards CC for nothing.
