"Don't post stats/Vindkall"
He is a monster. The biggest baddest mofo in the 40k world right now. But does anyone use him? I have yet to see him in a game. Obviously he should only be in big games but is he practical? Many people would cry cheese and possibly even not want to play you. But come on! Look at that thing! As an avid/long time chaos general it fills my heart with pride, at the fear this thing brings to the table. What are your thoughts?
I would love to see this one used in a real game. Should be a fun slaughter. =)
How much is it?
i would like to see it, but at 888 points, i dunno. Thats really expensive! I mean thats just obscene!!! But i suppose he could well be worth it at 8 wounds to keep him alive. How much money is he? Im too lazy to go to forge world and find him.
methinks to be used in those famed 20000 point games, where it's crazy amounts of shooting and all of that jazz. 40k becomes a much different game when you start breaking that 2000 point barrier for competitive gaming...actually becomes much more tactical. that's where one of these babies will shine, because while it's big and nasty, the chances are so are a lot of other things on the board, and opponents might be more tempted to kill off those 10 defilers acting as artillery in the background. plus, it's effect is still diluted somewhat for the points. Can you imagine it cleaving it's way through 900 points of anything in the three/four turns it's got to kill people? i think maybe if you had a few too many land raiders would that ever happen.
It's £125.00. But take one look at the thing and his stats... I find it believable that he could kill his own pts worth of units. :cool:Originally Posted by Lord Visharron

Also, are they planning one for Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Tzeentch? That would be cool, 999, 666, and 777 pts
They are planning one for every cult - the points value, as you thought, should be the same as their favoured number. I believe they are doing the Keeper of Secrets next, or less likely the Lord of Change. The Great Unclean One will come last. So of course, the Lord of Change will be the most powerful - as it was always meant to be :p
I also know they were doing a themed game at games day involving several bloodthristers and the FW thirster (Aggaroth the unbound) versus loads of grey knights. Although i believe they should include Angron too, to make it more like the first war of armageddon.
Also, numberofthebeastxxx - you shouldn't post stats. I'd delete them before someone modsmacks you.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
