I know that in the codex it says that no one can have a save of better than 4+ agains Khornate Chainaxes, but I was wondering if that applies to invulnerable saves too?
There are only a couple of CC invulnerable saves that are better than a 4+ and the only two that I can specificaly think of right now is the DE Archon's Shadowcheese field with it's 2+ invulnerable (until it fails a save) save. Next would be the Necron Wraith 3+ invulnerable.
If you are in CC with an Archon, don't worry cause even Khornate warriors will be dead before they get to swing their axe, and you won't encounter Wraiths too often since no one really likes them. (Except my wife who uses them with her Destroyer Lord)
What I'm getting at, is it's not something that you should really worry about anyhow.
Hourglass is correct. You really should not worry about the Inv. saves too much. It is merely a psychological weapon than anything else. So they have a Inv. Save, then charge them with things without powerweapons. Nothing lost.
About things with a low Inv. save, the berserkers can make up for it with their large number of attacks.
