    World eaters Questions

My Brother is starting up a world eaters army he has about 1k points. There are a few questions i would like answered.

First is Can he take scorcers even though khorne doesnthave a spell book?

Should he invest in some blood letters instead of more berserkers?

Are bikes usefull in an army like this?

and can you give any tips?

    nope, khorne is rather anti-magic

bloodletters are awsome but a lil pricey, 1-2 squads in 1500 points is what i used to use

i never found them all that useful other than daemon bombing.

I think daemon bombing is where you send a unit that can move quickly like bikers, raptors, models with infiltrate, or d. speed/ d. flight. Up to the enemy as fast as you can and then summon loads of daemons near the enemy. Hence the unit is carrying a bomb that's ready to exlode full of daemons. I could be wrong though.

This depends which list he's using actually..

For the actual world eaters list, nope, he can't.

But, if he's prepared to lose the advantages of the world eaters list. He could make a khorne army using the standard (a.k.a Black Legion) list, and have a sorceror or two. If he wants to be fluffy though, he shouldn't paint them in khorne colours. Khorne doesn't like magic much.

Actualy, he'd only be able to take one Sorceror. He needs a Lord or Lt. devoted to Khorne to keep Khornate units at there orriginal force organisation locations.
There once was a Lord named Vlad,
Who's fighting skillz really were mad.
    He killed and he maimed,
He spilled blood in Khorne's name.
And the fact that he's legal makes me glad
(special thanks to Uriel Zarium for the last line/touching it up)

Nope, no obliterators in WE armies. Only heavy weapons he'll be having will be on vehicles. I'd suggest a predator if he needs fire support.

Daemon bombing is a highly effective tactic, it involves having favoured units of daemons and either bikes or troops that can infiltrate (or both). Rush the speed unit forward and drop the daemons out on turn 2 (you only need a roll of 3+ to do so, so with 2-3 units you're bound to get 2 out unless you're unlucky). Doesn't work so well with non-cult armies that don't get favoured daemon packs, so raptors are a little unreliable for this tactic. If you want to use it in non-cult legions then by all means do so, but it is specially geared for cult armies. I use it frequently (but not all the time) in my EC army and it works pretty much every time, especially if I have a large fire base that hangs back around my deployment zone. Much kudos to numberofthebeast for highligting this tactic first (I don't know if he came up with it himslef, but he was teh first person to mention it on these boards).
