    Not too bad a list.

Nice cheap HQ, good to see you haven't gone overboard like so many people do.

Good solid core of troops too. I would suggest not having the plaguebearers favoured. You have enough on the board to begin with, and if they come out sooner there's longer for them to have to slog it to the enemy and get shot at.

Give the dreadnaught a lascannon. Even though you have infiltrating meltaguns, you need to be able to take out a larger threat such as a leman russ as soon as you can. It might take a while to get near enough to meltagun enemies- it has a very limited range, remember.

I love the HQ, its the perfect DG lieutenant.

I highly recommend giving the dread a lascannon and a missile launcher, the Mutated hull is definitely worth it.

I'd change the plasma/melta combinations for pure plasma and pure melta squads, that way you can take full advantage of the range of the plasmaguns.

All in all a solid list, actually its very very close to my own list, I just dont use plague bearers and I've got a different dread.

Can you think of anyway I could trim this list so I could give lascannon to the dread and add a few plague bearers?

And my Missle Launcher you mean Havoc right?

I agree about the lascannon, and the special weapons point too. Just make sure to get your double melta squad(s) fighting the tanks and the plas squad(s) fighting the marines

The way I see it, you could trim up some of the ACs (though I luv ass-kicking ACs), the dread could lose an upgrade, or the plaguebearers. More T5 marines is always a good thing!

    Great list btw!

I dont mean a Havoc launcher, I'm talking about switching the close combat weapon to a missile launcher.

As for trimming points, the Parasitic possesion is expensive, so I'd drop that and upgrade you dread as I suggested.
As for getting more plague bearers, you could drop the powerfists on 2 or 3 of the AC's, the regular marined are tough enough in cc, the powerfist is usually over kill and you're already more than capable of dealing with tanks, cause of the special weapons. D. strenght shouldnt be dropped though, its very useful for its points.
Dropping 2 powerfists (in the melta squads, its nice to have a high strength in the plasma squad, just in case) should give you enough points to buy 3 more plague bearers.
