    I like dreadnoughts, i like dreadnoughts a lot. But they are a pain because of there in ability to get into combat where those strength 10 attacks can really make a difference.

    Has anyone got any ideas about a possible solution for making them quicker, i dont mean a rule that exsists but something that you would give them if you could give them anything.

    I was thinking maybe a daemonically possessed one with giant wings, would be pretty impressive on the battle field.

    Anyway any ideas are welcome no matter how outlandish

    mine gets into combat often, it all has to do with providing more targets of equal destructive power as the dreadnaught and giving him possession and mutated hull.

    I play khorne with a nasty daemon prince and a bloodthirster and a so all three are equally scary and all that matters really is that one of them makes it to their lines.

    fury with a dreadnaught and two cose combat weapons when hes already in melee brings a tear to my eye its so beautiful.

    Dont you think a daemon prince, bloodthirster and hand to hand dreadnought is a bit over the top!!

    Fair enough i use three dreadnoughts and one is a hand to hand one.

    Fire frenzy is a cool rule and my opponents have a general fear of me rolling a 1 or a 6. But it always seems to end up to wrong way, my dreadnought with two close combat weapons always rolls a 6 and shots his combi-bolters to no effect, and then my dreadnought with twin linked lascannons and missile launcher rolls a 1 and run s towards the enemy out of a hull down position where it was sheltered!

    The chaos gods are just not with me on my dice rolling, and Nurgle being god of fate and all!

    I think in 2nd edition you could transport a dreadnought in a rhino....

    no dreds couldnt be in rhinos in second, but in first edition dreds and termies could have jump packs.

    I think the Dreads should be able to replace their legs with a turbofan type thing so that way they hover above the ground and become super speedy.

    i&#39;d say the easist way to increase their speed is to say they move 12" in the movement phase but may only shoot one weapon. they are vehicles and as such should be able to move faster than a human.

    yes but this is the 41 millenium where everything is big and clunky, that makes me wonder though how far can a titan move cause 6 inches looks like 1 step for them
