Gimme some tips please guys. Guy is really ****y and I want to beat him. 1500pts, I was thinking of Deep Striking him with a special force weapon proof retinue with collars with khorne and infiltrate with havocs with 2 plasma guns and 2missile launchers. Plus two large fodder squads with missle lauchers and plasma guns.
DH tends to be weak in anti armor (unless they induct guard) and mobility. And while their shooting isn't bad, it's not as good as their cc. Therefore, I'd try to stay out of cc unless your safe (mutated hull dread) or built for it (raptors with plasma pistols who keep falling back/charging, and a tooled out HQ of course). A lascannon pred might be nice too, if you can get shots off on his terminators. Of course, for the price, you could just pick up some more plasma armed infantry. An autocannon/heavy bolter pred would be useful if he takes storm troopers though (as they generally will be transported in rhinos and wont get a save against your weapons).
Take a lot of Daemons As many Daemons as you can, but keep your icon-bearers in un-upgraded Rhinos where they will be safe

If you're going to take Havocs, give them Plasma Guns all round and the Champ a Plasma Pistol. Sit them in cover and use Rapid Fire/Pistol range to devestate his Grey Knights. If he's running a Purist army (no allies), then nothing says hello like 9 AP2 shots at 12" from a squad in cover. Infiltrate the squad to get them quickly within range.
Okay take alot of plasma weapons, anymore suggestion?
obliterators, havoc sqaud with 4 ML, Dred with PC/ML combo, predator aniihilator, defiler, all are good against the GK, don't bother for expensive cc HQ's they will get smacked by the GK, just use a cheap HQ with a KaiGun
Taking a cc HQ with the Glaive, Collar of Khorne, and D. Rune. I'll be fine.
Any fast moving, hard hitting demon such as flamers, demonettes on steeds, screamers, furies, hounds of khorne. Basically he gives you the ability to just swamp him with wave after wave of demons so take full advantage of it. Who cares if he kills 100 points of demonettes if they're just gonna come right back on the board and kill another couple demonhunters (and considering each of his 1 wound marines costs more than a 2 wound tzeetch marine...)

he gets his armor save to a 4+
while you still get your 3+

Actually, your not too far off eldradir, and he should consider your advise no matter how sarcastic it may be... if the DH army has Grey knights (which they always do) your deamons keep coming back on the table after they die . They have a special rule, fluff wise, its because if there are grey knights, then there is a messload of deamons to kill, and this is why they would be there. Only lesser deamons come back tho... so dont take a bloodthirster... or a daemonprince... those would be bad choices, just pound him nid style with your endless amounts of bloodletters (I'm assuming that you are khorne) I know the DH I play dispise my FlamersOriginally Posted by Eldradir
