why does everyone fear slaanesh. Khorne could kick his ass.
Here's the scenario. You give your Khorne Lord Stature, Glaive, Feel no Pain, Armour, whatever else you feel like. A beasty to be sure. Think it'll kill anything.Originally Posted by zak
I give my Lord Stature, Drugs, Strength, Dark Blade, Furious Charge, Speed, Doom Siren. I'm practically guarunteed to get the charge. I'm guarunteed to strike before you do, hit on 3+, wound on 2+, and all you get is your 4+ invuln, which if you fail once, you suffer instant death.
That's why Slaanesh will kick Khorne's "behind".
Not to mention that on a troop vs. troop level, Noise Marines will not only shoot your beserker's down before they reach CC, even if they did reach CC, you still strike after my Noise Marine's do.
Now, some friendly advice. Next time you wish to troll, atleast back up your statements with some evidence. Blindly declaring "Such and such" is not a great way to start up a conversation.
I wasn' t talking about that. I meant why does every race fear slaanesh more than khorne.
Zak, your first statement was too blunt and also easily disproved, as Caluin did.
Do mind how you put things in future, or your time on this forum will become somewhat restricted...
Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
He's a new poster man, take it down a bit. I really hate the mods and such on this forum. However blunt it was, it was still a question and he was shown the error of his way, he doesn't need warning.Originally Posted by Hard Aun

Unfortunetly stature give toughness 5 to the other guys as well, so u wouldn't get instant death, even on the furious charge against the khornate, amounting only to a total of 9 str, drugs included. plus the siren is okay, but not overwhelming. unless i am missing something str issue. NOT to mention ur DP can die outright if roll three of a kind. DUH!
the khorne guy u made is a halfarse character. heres another better one:
Stature, Strength, Glaive, Feel No Pain, Furious Charge, Collar of Khorne, and Axe of Khorne.
can u say "TO many attacks" (unless i am wrong about the montrous creature treating 2- handed weapons as one).
Thanks for stickin up for the new guy herald of chaos . Not to be rude but could anyone answer my question?
NP man, just trying to help. First of all Cal, Majority of 'Zerkers will ride in a Rhino. On top of that, they ALWAYS take furious charge and they do nothing but run and run. to they are most like to strike at the same time on the charge, and with the amount of attacks they have, they almost guranteed to wipe them out first. this is all relative though. CC is often decide on who strikes first.
Why "everyone" fears Slaanesh?Originally Posted by zak
As far as I know, nobody really fears any Chaos God more than the other.
Eldar/Dark Eldar have a past with Slaanesh, which is why they are so connected with "She Who Thirsts" ... besides that, who is "everyone"?
You miscounted. Slaaneshi Lords can hit 10 strength. Base + DarkBlade + Strength + Drugs + Stature + Furious Charge. And I don't need to roll three dice - only two. One for WS, one for +1 Strength. I can bank on not needing the extra attack. And the Doom Siren was needed for someone who says "Oh, but I can make you charge me in cover!".Originally Posted by HeraldOfChaosThat's.... practically the same thing. Except you threw away 20 points on the Axe of Khorne, since you're wielding a two handed Glaive. You still have to survive my Lord's attacks, which the odds are against you.Originally Posted by HeraldOfChaosAh, now I'm with you - that's why you took the Axe. Only the Kai Gun is treated as 1-handed in the arms of a Statured Lord. Others stay two handed.Originally Posted by HeraldOfChaos
Look, I can play "This Lord will beat this Lord, and this troop can decimate this squad", but that's pointless. He made a blanket statement of --and I responded.Originally Posted by zak
I do apologize for jumping you. You post just seemed to be a troll. Now that I can see what you really want to know, here's my answer -
Khorne is easily manipulated by advanced players. The Blood Rage can be exploited by nearly any army, some easier than others. It's hard to put your troops where you need them when they decide to jump out of the Rhino for a whopping 1" fleet move. It's also hard when they are occassionaly forced to move towards the nearest enemy unit, even if they stand zero chance of winning an assualt.
Slaanesh, on the other hand, has access to some wonderful weaponry, and an amazing inherent ability, the Warp Scream. The bolter is an amazing, versatile weapon - imagine it when it can fire twice, even three times the shots per model.
Khorne is much harder to play correctly than Slaanesh is.
