I am thinking of making a Khorne army and i was wondering were to start. The questions that i have are.
What type of lord should I use. I was thinking a deamon prince or a lord on a Juggernaugt.
Im not sure what would be best.
Heavy support wise what should I take.
And basically what i need have a good army.
Hmmm well I'd suggest a prince. As for heavy support probably would want to go with a pred or 2, with something like a lascannon and h. bolter sponsons. The main part to any khorne army though, is lot and lots of troops.
Iron Warriors 9/1/0 (w/l/d)
World Eatters 15/1/0
Well Daemon Princes and Lords on Juggernaugts are good only for larger than 1500 points games. They are pointsink, so if you have a smaller list it should be good to use a good balanced lord or even a lieutenant. For your heavy support a dual CC dreadnought is good for fluff reasons. Goodluck with your list.
MEAT IS MURDER
Dreadnought is Khorne Style Oriented and I like those. With khorne army, you need a lot of troop, so IMHO it's better to equip your squads to be able to destroy the vehicles they run into instead of using dedicated unit to destroy vehicles. Then I would recommand the use of krak grenades or melta-bombs in all your squads, or, if you accept to lose some initiative, the power fisted champion is always a good option (no sex reference here).
But, if you insist, since it's the only effective unit against vehicle you'll be able to field, I would recommand that you fit all your dreadnoughts and predators with Lascannons.

Well, there's two kinds of khorne armies you can do - a total close combat army, that's more fluffy to khorne - or you can do a mixed army, that could be construed as a bit powergamey, but is perfect for tournaments.
The best thing to do in a total close combat army is basic troops - berserkers on top of berserkers and a few bloodletters thrown in for good measure - lead by a bloodthirster or a berserker glaive lord this can be very, very nasty. A double combat weapon dreadnought with destroyer can stride through everything, and your opponent will either focus firepower on him and be hit by a squad of berserkers, or vice-versa, and they're both as good as each other in combat really.
As for a mixed one - berserkers, a slightly toned down lord or possibly a bloodthirster, but cut the daemons and dreadnought and replace them with lascannon predators or defilers. In larger games, you may want to add some chosen or khorne possessed in to add a nasty little sucker punch that can tear apart vehicles and troops.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
"War does not determine who is right - only who is left."
There are several schools of khorne characters.
Most people just by a tooled daemon prince with a berserker glaive bla bla bla. Personally, I think this is a bit overdone and not very interesting in smaller games.
My suggestion, buy a cheap lieutenant and load up on other, more useful things, like anti tank support, or just rank upon rank of foaming berserkers.
I dont mind what type of khorne i just need one that wont get ruined in games.
And are deamon princes and juggernaughts good???
Yes, they are both good( I personally perfer the deamon prince) but they are the HQ of the army. While they have their strengths, any good chaos army needs lots of troops( lost plenty of times to chaos armies that just overwhelmed me  )And are deamon princes and juggernaughts good???
dont listen to these guys a d prince always kills his worth in points so no matter what youll break even with him what other individual unit aside from a greater demon does that
i think lords in khorne armies are good as long as they have lots of attacks with power weapons.
also feel no pain and collar of khorne is also a must have for me, i only sometimes take talisman of burning blood, it's useful against shooting armies like the guard.
take a few obliterators, they work well for me.
