How does minor psychic powers work?
Long ago there was something in me, but now that thing is gone,
I cannot cry, I cannot care, that thing will come back no more.

Well you purchase them for x amount of points then you use that gods minor psychic powers table (found in that gods book of chaos) and roll a d6 the result is checked against the table for example a 1 = the patron pays no heed to you. No minor psychic powers may be used this turn

Your standard Minor Psychic Powers are optional rules published by Chapter Approved. You'll need to purchase either the White Dwarf or the Chapter Approved Annual book that has the power list.
In addition, three of the Chaos Powers have specific Minor Powers that you may purchase the chance at taking. Basically, you're buying the chance to roll on each Power's table to see what power you recieve. You can find the rolling system and the tables for the Minor Psyhic Powers in each Power's Book.
If you're looking for general rules on how many minor powers you may use per turn, you can reference page 12 of the Chaos Codex. Apart from the changes noted on page 12, they work just like normal psychic powers.
-zeusNo minor psychic powers may be used this turn
This is wrong.
You do pay for a roll on the board, but this roll is made before the game starts, while your opponent is watching, and the result- the power, stays with the character for the whole game. You do not roll on the Min.Psycic table every turn.
And when you ask how they work, I feel I must say -Bad! There are quite a few better ways to spend theese points. Chanses are you end up with something really bad if anything at all.
