    ? about flamers and possessed

flamers can be purchased from GW website as current models and in the description it says they can be used in 40k, but they arent listed anywhere in the chaos codex.

i havent been able to find possessed anywhere, except for some crappily painted ones on ebay. do they not sell boxes of possessed? do i have to convert them all using random stuff?

i coulda swore you used to be able to buy possessed marines.

    Micah here are your answers

The flamer can be found as a upgrade for C. marines its in their profile page!

The possessed can be made from chaos marines boxes as they contain Daemonic parts.

    hope that helped.

    Just to clarify:

Flamers are an upgrade for Horrors, the Tzeentch daemon.

Possessed are regular marine models, except with excessive use of the mutation sprue and greenstuff.

Only the regular Chaos Space Marine squads come with them. I know the Iron Warrior squad and Khorne Bezerker squads i have bought did not.

As far as making them, I prefer to find a way to customize my own possessed. I have regular marine bodies with fantasy orc arms to represent regular possessed squads, and for my IW possessed, i gave them a bionic look with pit fighter bits like mechanical drills and saws, and for the daemonic talons each one has a fabius bile back pack.

You can just buy the CSM squad and use the mutation sprue, i always recommend having them fit the theme of your army some how for a little originality.
