OK I'm thinking of starting a new army. I currently have a Black Legion mechanised infantry and I was thinking that I wanted an army that was totally new for me but which I could still use some of my favourite models (like my lord). So obviously it looks like its got to be the latd
What I want to know from you loyal followers of chaos is what sort of army I should create, mutants or traitor guard?
Traitors are nice to look at, but mutants are better cost-effectiveness. Mine is constituated of 2 mutants units (30 models each), 3 Traitors Unit (15 mens each) and 1 CSM Squad in a rhino. I also have a Lemans Russ Battle Tank, 5 big mutants, 1 dark apostle, 1 Sentinel Squad, 2 x 15 CC traitors in rhinos as FA choice and a defiler. The rest of the chart is filled with stuff from my other armies (especialy from my newly painted Alpha Legion).
CHAOS Undiv.: won 14/22 games EC: 4/7 WE: 6/9 DG: 10/15, TS: 3/7 Orks : 13/20 SM NL : 1/6 TAU: 14 of 24 IG: 3/7
you could mix but big mutant squads led by AC can be really nasty and are preety cheap 4 their numbers and stat line traitors do get to infilrate and can carry icons which can b good with demons
