Has the 4th edition of chaos come out yet? Because, if not, i want to wait for it, so i won't waste all my money for nothing. If it isn't out, has any body got any idea when?
thankyou for your information
The CSM codex was redone towards the end of 3rd ed, so don't expect to see anything for a very, very long time. It wouldn't surprise me if CSM and necrons are the last to be updated - their rules are fairly recent and the model ranges are solid.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
I wouldn't even think about a Chaos 4th edition Codex. Like said above it's one of the newer codices and works pretty well with the 4th edition rules and the FAQ that's out.
So go out and buy the newest print and enjoy it for a few years to come.
No, you don't want to wait for it. If you want to do chaos, do it now. Trust me, there is little wrong with our codex, it is a well made one. The 4th edition wont be out till something like 2008 or maybe longer. So don't hold your breath. Tust me chaos, in all its glroy, is a great army to play, just like it always was.Originally Posted by THE.
As previously stated, the Chaos Codex was renovated just prior to Eye of Terror, as a result we will not be seeing one for quite some time. The beauty of that is our codex is one of the most flexible and formidable lists out there. We have flexible army compositions, our armies can be great in close combat, ranged fighting, or city fighting. We are not a war of attrition army, however if you want a dead 'ard elite army then play chaos marines. there are quite a few posts out there on the chaos section that can help you whittle it down even further into a particular cult/army.
