I'm thinking about starting a Slaanesh army but I have a few questions.
-Is the only reason to get the EC boxed set over the generic Space Marine set to get an EC weapons sprue? Are the other parts like the eC backpack purely stylistic?
-What is the EC Lord model? Is it an Aspiring Champion or a Lord/Lieutenant?
-Also, to anyone with an Abaddon model, is the head on Abaddon mounted from the bottom or from the back? Could I attach the head of the Fantasy Slaanesh Lord to his body?

You can use either, depending on what Wargear you want to give him. If you give him Daemonic Stature however, it means you have to use a larger model.
Emperor's Children Lord, Normal Lord, Sorceror or Alternative Lord. Any of these can represent Lords or Asp Champs, there's no rule against it. Or you could just do the coolest thing and convert your own.
In the EC boxset, you get 1 Sonic Blaster and 1 Blastmaster, and the EC backpack and several (4 i think) EC heads. So basically apart from the sonic blasters, the rest is just for stylistic purposes, but the heads do look cool. And i would convert my own lord, but the EC lord we have looks, well to me, like an amazing model.
