I heard a rumor that standards aren't sold anymore, anyone happen to know if this is true? If not anyone know where I can find one online?
If it is true would any of you consider it against the rules to find a picture online, print it with photo ink, and attach it to a standard pole? Or possibley just buy a normal chaos standard bearer, paint him as death guard, and make my own banner putting it in place of his normal standard?
I'm considering doing this for my HQ:
1 chaos lord, 4 d.g. havocs, 1 d.g. havoc a.c., and the standard bearer so I can get the full 7 number of models for the nurgle number.
http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefr...051&orignav=10 The first ones and its goods are the nurgle one(on the right if you are looking at the painted ones)
of course you could take a normal marines and a brass rod and order the icon only... drill hole in marines hand, insert rod and stick icon on rod.
If you are in the US:http://store.us.games-workshop.com/s...ItemNav=301808
The fantasy banners that come with the Khonrgor and pestigor are awesome too! Do a search for khorngor or pestigor at the US GW store's - Here's a link - liek all metal minis, it looks way cooler painted.

that metal one does look a great deal cooler, but the question is will that metal banner attach well, so to speak, to the standard bearers pole?
