I just want to play a tactically flexable nurgle oriented army. I know that if you give your lord the mark of a specific god then you can give that to the other units if possible. However i want to give my lord a mark of nurgle but i dont want to play deathguard. I know that in a deathguard army that all models must have the mark of nurgle. Will i be able to take obliterators (which are markless) in a nurgle lead army as an elites choice? This may seem as a stupid question but i saw a slannesh player who was able to find a loophole in his army to get 6 havoc squads. 3 with mark of slannessh for heavy support 3 with undivided for elites.

You know what they say, if you dont like the weather in houston...go back to where you came from

yes... just because you play a nurgle army does not mean you have to play deathguard.
