Hello everyone. I would like to start a thousand sons army, but before i do that i would like to gain an overall opinion on the psyker powers that anyone uses and their overall usefullness to you.

You know what they say, if you dont like the weather in houston...go back to where you came from

Twisting path is very nice if you are playing victory points, but bolt of change is too expensive to be practical. I don't really like their minor psyker powers either, they are ok but nothing special.

Well for starters... the Eye of Tzeentch is great. It lets you re-roll any roll you want once per turn, Bolt of Change is quite nice with Warp Focus. The slow and purposful movement allows you to fire at maximum range with rapid fire weapons, not to mention the obvious advantage of having two wounds on your troops, and being fearless. It is an expensive army thats for sure but if used right it can be very, very deadly to anyone.
It's not Raymond Luxury Yacht, It's pronounced throat wobbler mangrove.

If I had to play 1k sons I would load up on Marines with free AC w/BP+P.Fist+D.Mutation+BoltofChange+Thrall+W.Focus. Fit that into a Rhino with Smoke.

Now if I remember correctly that's just under 320pts. Get 4 of those and a D.Prince. 1k sons aren't as badly affected by TVR as other lists as they can rapid fire exiting Rhinos.

The models are very nice and imo that's the main reason to use them. Personally I think Iron Warriors are stronger in almost every scenario tho.

Personally, I think with the fact that Thousand sons and Slannesh even more so, are slightly worse off than Khorne and even Nurgle, game wise.
