After getting the codex and reading it the wording is kinda confusing. Are night lords aloud to take a daemon prince? In army builder it won't allow me.
The Codex isn't really all that confusing. It specifically mentions Daemon Princes in the Night Lords entry. Just look in the first bullet point - it's right after the sentence about Furies.
This is why Army Builder should never be trusted. There are dozens of mistakes littered through out that program.
Thats odd. I have never had problems using a Daemon Prince for my Night Lords when I use Army Builder. But as Caluin said the program, or more precisely the data files, has some flaws. Try to look for a newer version of the datafile you use, since that often corrects the more obvious flaws.
Remember that Army Builder is just a framework. The program works fine, but the end product will never be any better than the data file you have imported. And certainly, Army Builder should never be used as a reference for rules purposes. Far too many mistakes and outright flaws for that.
Still, it is a wonderful tool that greatly speeds up the process of making an armylist. And you can edit the datafiles if some of the flaws are too restricting.
If the radiance of a thousand suns
Were to burst at once into the sky,
That would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...
I am become Death,
The shatterer of Worlds.
