What are the special rules for TS and are the thousands sons and good? I'm debating whether to get IW or TS
Thanx in Advance!
thousand sons are risky put it that way. they cost 24 points a model but they have two wounds and move as if in difficult terrain and shooting as always stationary. but....just say old mister ordenence comes around and blows away a squad of troops oh my god you just lost a heap of points. iron warriors have the option of taking 4 heavy supports (sacraficing 2 fast attack choices) and more than 1 squad of obliterators. but now the choice is up to you what your playing preference is.
thousand sons..........troops are a bit strange but they work well as a shooty force.
A Rhino? SLOTH!
Thousand Sons are one of the most durable troop choice on the board! Yes, they can be taken out with powerful weapons, but who wouldn't? Nothing is "helps" Khorne berzerkers get into the mood to charge when they get "bolter death" before they charge!!! And then it takes a couple more rounds to kill of a squad in h2h.
IMHO the thousand sons are tough as nails. they have two wounds each and always count as stationary. Granted, ordinance can hurt alot but you can solve that by just playing carefully. My friend has an 1850 pt tsons force with only about 46 models and some tanks/ dread, but when you think about it another way, his army has upwards of 83 wounds, and in my opinion a single thousand son is worth 2 regular marines any day (especially whithin 12 inches).
and my favorite things about the thousand sons is........UBER PSYKERS!!!
maybe its just me but i LOVE!!! all the psykers that tsons have, add that in with automatically passing the rolls for using magic, and you have a kick ass army that is led by magic users of DOOM!!! (for your opponent)
the bad thing about the tsons is that they always move as if in difficult terrain, they always strike with 1 initiative in combat, and their mark is pretty pricey
(oh yeah, i also really like screamers)
hope this helps
is there any way to put them together? Couldn't u do this if u didn't have a mark of undivided?
Thanx for the help
Can you reword your question? I don't quite understand what you are saying.
One more thing, it sounds as if you don't have the Codex for the CSM's you may want to go out and purchase (if you don't have it, but by the way you are asking questions it sounds as if you don't) the codex first before choosing an army. But... generally if an army looks cool to you then chances are you will be happy with them, heck thats how i got started with the Thousand Sons.

My elvish name is Maeglin Meneldur.
My question was that if there is any way to have an army that includes both TS and IW and be legal. I thought that u could do this if u didn't use a mark of undivided, is that true?
the facts are that the two wounds are a great thing to have, they are good shooty, and they are cool looking with neat fluff

Can u put the 2 armies together into 1 army that inludes IW and TS?
