As I'm starting to venture into the black legion, I would appreciate some help on purchasing future models for the army. Right now, I have:
1 chaos lord
1 obliterator(Old style, which I plan on getting 2 more. Reason why I decided to stay bl.)
8 marine squad
8 marine squad
defiler(Got brand new for $39.00 US )
I'm looking possibly at bikes, I realize I need some sort of fast attack, I can't have a complete 6" moving army. Bloodletters are later on, since right now I'm looking for a good BASE of an army.
Since becoming a chaos player, I'm getting rid of my dark eldar stuff(mostly new) and some chaos blisters which I didn't think would fit my army. Take a look. http://search.ebay.ca/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZtopsvy
So if you guys have any ideas. I don't plan to go hq heavy, I plan to go troop/heavy support heavy since it would fit my style of play. Because it is black legion, there is more slack. Thanks.

Get something which can count as more than one thing.
e.g. I converted some SM into things which would be about half the codex: chosen, possessed, CSM, Havocs, or Raptors. And they have modelling for most of the good daemonic upgrades. This gives you a lot of flexibility, which is what BL is all about.

Havocs are really good for taking down vehicles etc.
Bikes are great for their speed and decent attacks.
how about a squad of terminators, incorporate heavy firepower with CC ability
If you like bikes go ahead with them but they're not the only option. Some daemons can add a puch to your army and make it more interesting. Otherwise an infiltrating squad can make up for a lack of fast units.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
For your army, I'd probally get a squad from the fast attack or elite section. Maybe Biker's, Possessed, or Raptors would be a good idea. After that, you should get more troops again. Just make sure that you have a core base of troops in your army. They are what wins you the game.
