What do people think about using bloodletters over daemonettes?
As like all things, it depends on the situation.
There once was a Lord named Vlad,
Who's fighting skillz really were mad.
He killed and he maimed,
He spilled blood in Khorne's name.
And the fact that he's legal makes me glad
(special thanks to Uriel Zarium for the last line/touching it up)
First of all welcome to LO. Each daemon is usually used in a cult army of their own kind. It depends what you need. They are very different troops, Bloodletters are huge points sinks but are almost guaranteed to win any kind of charge against enemy lines. Daemonettes ue their rending to get as many attacks as possible to rip apart the enemy and are usually used to tear apart tougher squads.
Bloodletters will beat unlimited basic troopers but daemonettes will tear apart anything else.
I personally prefer daemonettes but that doesn't mean they're better.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
Both daemons are quite effective, and you should be happy with either one you choose.
You could proxy them at first, and see what you like better.
You could also play a Black Legion so you get a better feel for what you like.
Picking your Legion first might also be a good idea if your not going undevided. Here are some articles that may help you decide what to choose between slaanesh and khorne:
Emperors Children Army Tactica
World Eaters Tactica
Goodluck, and enjoy either army you choose.
Well right now i have black legion army of about 5000+ points with khorne and some salneesh and i have a squad of bloodletters but in the last tournament i played in this one kid i played against was using daemonettes and he ripped through my 10 man plasma gun squad like it was nothing until my daemon prince charged them then they were toast:yes:
Bloodletters = Reliable close combat troops who can take on enemy infantry (especially heavy infantry like space marines) and deal a lot of pain.
Daemonettes = Unreliable shock troops who can destroy abseloutely anything in the game if all goes well, or be mangled if it goes wrong. They're cheaper though, so it's fairly easy to make up their points.
Personally, I'd go with daemonettes. They're simply more fun. Get them straight into CC with a Carnifex, a Terminator unit or somesuch and you may have the fun of watching 90 points of daemonette potentially go through 100-200 points of enemy before they can even react. Just don't expect them to do it every single game.
So far im getting that the bloodletters are good for taking out pesky troops and some elites but their not too effective against the bigger units like wraithlords and carnifexes as well as most vehicles and Daemonettes can possibly do alot of harm to the bigger units do to their rending but they are more fragile then the bloodletters seeing that they are not in power armour.
