Berzerkers Glaive vs. Axe of Khorne...
I myself am a big fan of the Glaive, despite its little quirks. However, I would like to hear your ideas. if you dont mind sparing the time.
i personally like the axe as the glaive is a bit to many points for me that's just me though and i seem to roll ton's of six's for the extra attack.and for the glaive i usally use d.speed or d.flight to get up quicker.and if you have a glaive your no longer a indepedenty char wich can really start to hurt and you cant join a unit or have a retinue and since you automaticly get frenzy a transport won't do anything.but the save and movement can help to get their and sice you double you attacks well i don't really need to say anything about that.and last you can give an axe to champs wich can hurt alt beleive me i know terminater squads don't like to be hit by chain axes or power weapons.:hmm:
You can't combine any movement enhancements with the Berseker Glaive. Otherwise, it'd be a much better weapon.and for the glaive i usally use d.speed or d.flight to get up quicker.
the limitations of the glaive are the only reason I don't use it on my HQ lord ( might be nice for a LT in a support fasion) I really love the extra movment of D speed and the 12'' charge distance besides who uses a range weapon on thier lord anyway in a WE army ??
so far it is a toss up between the dread axe or a dark blade ( insta kill t 4 VS. No armour save ) I would use a aok if i was going to give the d wpn to another character. I am very lucky in cc so I have gotten a ton of benifits from the xtra atacks. right now I give my ac's either a pf or the aok.
Thought for the day: A Burning Heretic , Will brighten the Decor of any room.

Simple as that, really. There are ways to use the Glaive when non-statured, but the Axe of Khorne is often more reliable. However, there are better choices than either of them for a Khorne Lord.
