hello i was wondering if it would be legal for me to put this piece ( http://store.us.games-workshop.com/s...402&GameNav=13 ) in my army as a chaos sorceror model for my HQ choice and just use the familiar as a sorceror's familiar???? or would it not be legal at all and if it is give ur opinions on the idea of doing it,
Also if it is legal could i still use the staff already on the model and say its a bedlam staff????? or how would that work?
Yeah, that's legal, as long as you convert it a little. Depending on what wargear you plan on giving the model, it'll need to be shown on the model. A bolt pistol, for example, would need to be shown somewhere. The Bedlam staff is pretty much there already, as is the Familiar.Originally Posted by 7th_sign_soulja
As for opinions... I don't see a problem with it, as long as you make sure to convert it a little so that it looks like it ties in with the entire 40K imagery and stuff. This model by itself, with no conversion and that kind of thing would be pretty weak - looks wise - on the 40K battlefield. Just spend a little bit of time sprucing it up, and I'm sure no one will object.
P.S. Make sure to mount the model(s) on the round 40K bases, rather than the squared Fantasy ones.
Also if that is legal for the sorceror i take it it would also be legal to use this piece ( http://store.us.games-workshop.com/s...401&GameNav=13 ) as your chaos lord in your tzeench armies?? of course you would have to have the disc of tzeench power up but would that legal????
Once again, yes, that would be legal. Just make sure that all of the wargear and weapons and stuff are shown on the model (bolt pistols, yadda yadda) and all will be well.Originally Posted by 7th_sign_soulja
ok thank you for the advice and ill make sure to put it on a round base and could you help me out here a bit, exactly how would i get a bolt rile into this hands if his arm is already there?
Well, shouldn't be all that hard... Should be as simple as gluing the pistol onto the hand of the model.Originally Posted by 7th_sign_soulja
