Is a chaos lord with demonic flight, lighting claws, damonic strength and melta bombs any good? (he would also (have inflitrate)
It would make for an awersome model but would it preform well behind enemy lines??
I think it'd work relativley well, being able to pop tanks and destroy infantry in close combat.
However, I'd switch D. Flight for D. Speed, D. Flight gives you a 18" charge range, and D. Speed gives you a 19-24" charge range.
Its also lacking staying power. I'd give it D. Resilence, and maybe D. Aura.

I firmly believe that lords are at their best and most effective if you give them a specific job to do: Hunt infantry, hunt tanks. Make them try to do both and you'll get an overpriced lord that is luke warm at either. The closest thing I can think of to a Jack of all trades lord is one with a darkblade, furious charge and D.Strength. strength 8 on the charge pops light vehicles well, and is the bane of all troops.
Your lord's upgrades and wargear isn't very harmonious. Lightning claws are specifically anti troop weapons, and are awesome, you don't need an additional strength since you're re-rolling missed to wound rolls, go for an extra attack using mutation, and spiky bits. That would give you 6 attacks on the charge most likely hitting on 3s, re-rolling one missed attack and re-rolling all missed wounds.
Then you put a meltabomb on him. He's a monster in CC against troops, but against tanks, he gets 1 attack, most of the time hitting on 6s, and IF he destroys the vehicle he's left with no consolidation, flapping in the wind to be shot at.
If you REALLY want an infiltrating lord that's good against tanks, here's what I suggest:
No mark, Combi melta, powerfist,D. Speed, D. Strength, Furious charge, mutation, spiky bits. Still, that's a lot of points to be left hanging out in the open, when you blow up that tank, and won't last long but it will be 6 strength 10 attacks on the charge.
