im gonna start chaos and i want a professional opinion. should i get daemon prince or normal chaos lord??
<a href='http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?chaosbringer' target='_blank'>40k-forum.tk go there, its the best</a>
i've heard alchohol makes you stupid!
No i'm . . . doesn't
i think a lord. but thats just a personal preference i find that daemon princes cost just too many points when they could be on more troops.
i depends on how you play, i personally like to use less points on lords, so i just take a chaos sorcerer, but then again i would play tzeentch, so i spend too mcuh on chosen retinues, but i would say just sup up a lower points chaos hero
Quote of the week: "dude, for a whole hour, i would fall asleep!"
It all depends on how you play and what army you play. In my Khorne army I use a good suped up Daemon Prince cause it needs all the help it can get busting tanks...... In my Nightlords army though I take a pretty basic chaos lord and focus more on my troops. Just depends on what your doing with your army. Could alway just use both and see what you like.
Chaos Lord > Daemon Prince
Even loading up your Daemon Prince will be a foolish idea, being prone to instant death (unless you have the Daemonic Rune) it'll be a massive blow to your points if it dies.
Depends, a Lord with Retinue is often better than a Statured DP. I'm assuming you mean Statured Lords when you say Daemon Prince yes?
Ze titles yez...
When in doubt,
Smite.<SilverMane> I would trust BID with my life
<SilverMane> HEIL BID!
<Adrian-> BiD is Omnipotent; All Knowing, All Powerful!
<Scary_Troopers> I see you as an optimist, GT. : D
But what of the midgets!?
=]Front in favour of Moderation of the Harshest kind.[=
It all depends, some times i like to use a lord in terminator armor (+1 attack, 2/5+), and other times i like to use a DP (+1 strength and toughness). There are obvious benefits to both lord types, it all depends on the mission.
It's not Raymond Luxury Yacht, It's pronounced throat wobbler mangrove.

My elvish name is Maeglin Meneldur.
I play Khorne, and my Daemon Prince earns it every time. Like EnderUSAF said, It all depends on what army you're fielding, and who you are playing against.
