What would you lot consider to be the best combination of wargear to give a dreadnought. The rules are this is a khorne dreadnought, so it needs to be a close combat lunatic if anyone has seen the monty python film "And Now for Something Completly Different" remember that clip of the housewifes re enacting the battle in the field. Completly irrelevant but thats how frantic i've always thought a khornate dreadnought wouuld be.

Autocannon and ccw /w destroyer ability and extra armour. Means it can shoot on its way up without spending points on its gun in case it frenzies. If it fire frenzies it should be able to kill a fair bit with its autocannon, especially light tanks. It can tear people apart in cc and extra armour means they wont stop it. Mutated hull isnt necessary as if they shoot it you arent losing THAT many points. Blasphemous rune might be good as well.

Thanks guys the conversion i've got in mind is giving the dreadnought krieger crash thraxs power claws they look suitable evil so the auto cannon may not be viable (but a good idea none the less) thanks for the suggestions

This thing is good.
Twin CCW is a waste unless you drop pod them, which we can't SO don't, use a lascannon, or a assault cannon as a autocannon (is WYSWYG) if its points ur worried about, but two CCW is like "hey I'm a waste of points and will have to move 4 times to reach the enemy IF they don't out manuver me." And relying on blood frenzy is not tactically cool.
I've said my beef.
It's just like D.Mutation for a dread and another twin linked bolter. I think that's useful plus instead of 3 attacks, 4 on the charge you get 4 Base, 5 for 2 ccw's, 6 for charging and if you blood frenzy add another 3 so If you blood frenzy you could have a total of 9 attacks.
If think thats good for for the points it costs. Believe you me its cheap.

Though the autocannon might draw attention while a thing with bolters wont really until your opponent realises he could be looking at 9 dreadnaught attacks.
The ccw dread models are very cool but almost useless against any competant opponet. So far my WE's CCW dread has killed more of my marines than it kill the enemy , the lack of control over the dread coupled with it's Heavy support slot equals dead-weight . Mabey a Twin linked auto cannon or Heavy bolter.
