    A statured DP

How tall is he really...To scale. Codex say's at least 10 feet. The Statured DP from GW is HUGE. At least as tall as a dread and he is hunched over...
That said how tall is the standard Space Marine....2.5 meters....I have done a not so indepth search of some codex, fluff books and the like and can't pin it down. SM are supposed to tower over humanity. They are not much taller than Cadians.
WD had a little ditty on making a Space Marine larger a few months back.
I've started to the platform shoe, abdomin space and shoulder space a CSM. Slap him on a 40 mm base and BAM! Statured Prince.

What do you gents think about size of a Statured DP i.e. How tall should that CSM I am making be.

About 4-5 times the size of a SM.

Yeah...codex says 10' not ten meters.....
I'm thinking a CSM is about head and shoulders below the smallest of DP. 4-5 times is overkill.

Are you talking fluff wise or game wise becasue I'm getting the idea he was talking fluff which is about 4-5 times higher?

I'm talking rules-wise. The codex says a Statured DP is at least 10' It also has a 40mm base requirement. So...they don't say in game terms how large the DP HAS to be. They just give a basing requirement and a real life height.

The height is a real life term which is hard to transmit into game/25-28mm scale.

SO how tall is a CSM in "REAL LIFE" or fluffwise. We can then extrapolate the necessary addition to the model to have a "legal" Statured DP that is not 4-5 times the size of a SM.

My ultimate goal is not to pay the $35 dollars for a dumb looking tall model that won't fit into my Thousand Sons force.

When you mix fluff and rules it always craps on you. Anyway, a CSM should be around 7-8 feet tall (I think). If a Statured DP is at least 10, it should not be a problem to increase the height of a CSM and call it a Statured prince in game terms...On the field of battle, etc...

    Sorry for not being clear.

The Daemon Prince is not stupid looking and has many great modelling opertunities. Use Belakor with a TS LOC staff in his hand if oyu want a good sized DP with a good look.

The thing is, GW stuff isn't quite to scale anyways, so as long as it is "obvious" he is monsterous, it is probably fine. Just make sure when you use the bigger base, that it doesn't make the model look small.

The guys have it.. as long as he looks like he could tear through a tank without pausing, you're there.

Personally I'd say as big as possible.. anything else, and you're not doing justice to what is probably the centrepiece model for your army.

Marines in power armour are about 7 ft. Termies are 8 ft.

So you don't need to build him up all that much.
