I know you cannot deep-strike say terminators, then summon daemons, since they are coming in at the same time. However, what about when using daemon icons? With the icon I'm automatically bringing in the daemons with no scatter roll, before movement. So, can I deep-strike my terminators, then use a daemon icon to summon the daemons?
No. I don't believe so anyways.
There once was a Lord named Vlad,
Who's fighting skillz really were mad.
He killed and he maimed,
He spilled blood in Khorne's name.
And the fact that he's legal makes me glad

Think of Daemon Summoning as an extra phase. Daemon Phase, Movement, Shooting, Assault.
Deep Strikers would come down at the start of the Movement phase, and that would be their movement.
I understand where you are coming from, but No.
