Who thinks the steed is worth the points? I want to get some opioins here for my lord. I looked at wings and they just give a jet pack bascially which keeps up with the rest of my raptors but there is just something i don't like about that. Daemonic speed is ok but all it does it make the character a calvery. The steed at least gives a +1 toughness and also an extra attack, (Or at least the imperials get another attack for begin on a horse i think we do too) I mean an extra attack and moving like clavery is very nice for its points. Plus it opens the door for nice conversions.
What do you other chaos players think is the best?
Wow...oh well then i guess this thread was shot down....
Also why do we not get the +1 attack? I mean in the imperial guard FAQ it says that the rough riders get that bouns....it should be to all armies that use horses...not just them...
The Imperial Guard FAQ does not state that horses give the Rough Riders an Additional attack. However under the miscellaneous section it does say that because horses steer themselves, the riders may benefit from the extra attack granted by a CCW and a pistol.
Honestly if I didn't have those commissars breathing down my neck, I'd trade you my horses for your steeds anyday.
