Hi all, Just a quick question. What do you use to model Daemonic Speed to your DP? I would have thought that the giant dragon wings would be feasible, but would using them mean that the DP looks more powerful that he actually is, so will he get shot up lots more than if he didn't have them.
The thing is that if a player sees a really big daemon thing across the board, and doesn't know what it does, then they'll obviously shoot the hell out of it, what with it becoming more imposing and all. I'll have a Bloodthirster in the army as well, so that might take some fire off the DP when it appears (in turn 2 hopefully).
Any ideas on how to get round this will be appreciated greatly seeing as my main opponent plays shooty BL with a side order of khorne berzerkers.

Daemonic Speed is, by definition, a leg thing.
Daemonic Flight is, on the other hand, a Wing thing.
It's best not to get them mixed up.
What you need to do is do a search, and you'll find a few discussions about this already, and some of the posts have pictures of various ways of going about it.

well wings are generaly use for Daemonic Flight so something like more legs or mabey extra long legs but a DP is a threatening any way so if it has Stature it's a big target stuff like wings would not make it any worse
YAY FOR THE CRAZY SCRIBES
let's increase our output to 6 army lists an hour!!!
Just make your opponent aware and there should be no problems.
Why not use your Lord as bait? He's expendible.

yeah, if you want wings, give it flight. speed is more like legs, or any other sort of conversion which would increase the speed. like tzeentch disks, for example.
what if you used some sort of steed? daemonic steed ain't bad

What about multiple legs, like using tyranid scything talons as spider legs? That would be a good representation of D.Speed.

Or even just put him on all fours in a catlike position and weapons on his back...
I guess that might be pretty hard though...
Also, how would you model on daemonic strength?
Xtra large biceps?
Ork/Orc or Catachan Arms of course.:rolleyes:Originally Posted by theripperfex
