When equiping Khorne Berserkers, does one need to pay the 15 point charge for equiping them with Axes of Khorne, or are those usually seen as automatically granted, and teh axe upgrade is for other characters? I'm uncertain when it comes to that, can anyone give me assistance in the matter?
yea you still have to pay..and im assuming only characters with the mark of khorne or undivided may take the upgrade
Only characters that can select from the Khorne army (read: models with the Mark of Khorne) can select Axes of Khorne. Besides Bezerkers are better with Khornate chainaxes.
Are Khornate Chainaxes 'free', as in, included with the character? I thought the Axe of Khorne and the Khornate Chainaxes were one in the same.
Nope. Go look at the Book of Khorne in the Chaos Codex if you don't belive me.Originally Posted by JMSlayer

WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
Ah, thank-you, found it. Thank-you for your time.
Axe of Khorne is an upgrade only available to people with access to the armoury costing x points.
Khornate chainaxe is something different costing y points and is available to almost anyone with the Mark of Khorne.
From the sounds of it you already found the answer but theres a summary of it.
