    army´s general

If I don´t have a Chaos Lord or a Chaos lieutenant in my army, but have a Greater Daemon.
    Who is the army's general?
The greater daemon or the a. champion acting as a host for the greater daemon?

I need know that to define my general´s chaos mark ( the a. champions is undivied and the greater daemon is khorne)

    thanks

The greater deamon is your general, as he is your HQ choice. The AC is still only an infantry guy, paid for seperately and all that. And since, even if he dies, the deamon still spawns, they are still seperate.
    Hope that helps.

Chaos Lord > Chaos Lt. > Greater Daemon > Most Expensive Aspiring Champion.

The only exception to the chart above is if you have two Lts, in which case your General is the most expensive one.

And going by this scale Mourelly, that makes your army Undivided.
Hello daemonettes, hello Plague Marines, hello Bolt of Change casting Champs.

    Mourelle

Chaos Lord > Chaos Lt. > Greater Daemon > Most Expensive Aspiring Champion.

Karmoon as Mourelle's Greater Daemon is of the Khornite breed and his Undivided Aspiring champion is ranked lower (the only time an Aspiring champion can be general is missions with no HQ slots or a LATD army) that makes his army Khornite Primary.

Yes, marked Khornite Berserkers will be troops, any other mark is an elite.

I got into this topic quite in depth a while ago trying to work out how to take Fabius Bile and still keep my Berserkers as troops, back in first printing when you could enhance marked marines, I failed and ended up shelving the Fabius model altogether when I got second printing. Makes sense though, I know if I was a Chaos Daemon Lord I wouldn't take orders from any Lieutenant.
