ok, so i was lookin at the slaanesh models and i saw the model Lord of Slaanesh, and he is on a demon mount, and i was wondering if i chose him as an HQ and he was on the mount does that mean i have to wait to summon the demon mount or do i just play regular and theres no summoning th mount.
You do not need to summon the mount. You purchase them as wargear, your lord starts the battle on it.
W/D/L Eleventy trillion billion/NONE/ NONE - I am STILL rulezor!
WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
ok thanks, and ummm is having a mount even that useful for ur HQ choice? or is it a waste of points
well it can restrict what you can and cant do with your lord. such as no stature, infiltration or termie armor to name a few. but the benifits of getting a mount are cheaper then if they were bought seperatly.
The Steed costs are exaclt the same for a Lord as the benefits bought seperately.
For a lieutenant or AC, the steed is actually more expensive.
(Specialist mounts - juggernaughts, discs are different..)
So for this reason, unless it's vital for fluff, there are only disadvantages for having a model on a steed.
Lieutenant's and Lord's are both IC's, so both pay the same..Originally Posted by Karmoon

good point. well spotted. In which case, the steed is only more expensive should an AC be using one.Originally Posted by mrdave
In any case, they're poo, so no point having one apart from for fluff and or modelling reasons.
