Which of these combinations do you think is most useful? Or maybe some other combination? Traitors have poor BS so giving them something like a laser cannon or a rocket launcher is pretty much a waste of points. I take small units of Traitors just to get access to Hellhounds, Leman Russes, and meltabombing Rough Riders but I'm having difficulty deciding which setup would be more useful.
I like the HB/H.Stubber combo. But also the Mortar/Sniper one.
The Mortar/sniper team can hide four of it's models behind hard cover, just showing the sniper hence only risking him as a casualty -no need for morale check if he dies and noone will shoot at a single sniper. The rest of the unit is there only to claim quarters and allow me to take a tank, maybe kill something once in a while.
Other then that I also like the Anti-Tank weapons (despite their BS) they can infiltrate and maybe get a tank- that's getting their points back times and times over.
I guess I like them all....
m-m-m-m-m melta bombs I'd say the Sniper/Mortar team also cause im my experience no one will send a whole Tactical squad to silence one mortar and a sniper until they happily parade their entire HQ past the position... I think you can guess what happened next.... a mortar taking out a librarian and the sniper... well that Space Marine Commander didn't really stand a chance.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LOOK AT MY BLOG!
Rep people if they help you!!!
Mortars most definitely do not kill Librarians. Nobody is going to waste time with my traitor squads because they've got to worry about a bunch of other stuff (namely my mutant mobs with twin powerfists, my meltabombing rough riders, my tankhunting allied marines, and a Leman Russ or two depending on my list at the time) in the first place.
