skip to last paragraph for sumarisation(sp?)
This is prolly a noob question and for that I am sorry but in the codex it mentions a modelwith daemonic stature must be on a 40 mm base.....
makes sense, but then it says that it must be..........10' TALL!
WTF!! ten feet tall!
Thats what Im thinking when I read that so then Im thinking it must be a typo...(there is already plenty of those)
But even if it was a typo what could they have meant????10 inches?????
Even 10 inches would be too much so to make a long story short....
How tall does a model have to be to use D-stature.
Well demonic statue dont need to be on a tall model i played yester day with a guy and he had a hole army basicly Demonic so yea
scaled? Ive never heard of that......
*Starts eating bullets* Dude, think. This is a scaled down game. The Daemonic stature model on the 40mm base are 10feet tall in real life.
Just chuck him on a 40mm base.
Look at the Statured DP boxset for a good comparison of the size you should be going for.

The "A Smart Player Will..." theory is a complete paradox. If we make an assumption that everything we do is outsmarted, then theoretically we can never win.
The scale used in WH40K is 28mm. That means an average human model is 28mm hight.
Roughly, 3cm = 6 feet.
This means your DP should be 5cm tall. 2 inches.
Yea... i think someone at Games workshop messed up on that a little >.<Originally Posted by onodera
The way i see it is Space marines are meant to be like 8 feet tall on average arent they? So it needs to be one and a quarter times the size of a space marine model.

sorry for the stupid question..... I dont really have a rulebook. (ive learned how to play entirely by my friend telling me how to) Ive played plenty of real battles, although there is still a couple of things he has failed to mention. I really should get a rulebook ASAP although 50 bucks is a lot to dish out for a pile of paper when you can learn rules for free =P.... though thats another stupid thing to say.
Root, save yourself a lot of pain and embarrasment and get YOUR OWN copy of the BGB and any codexes of armies you're interested in/play against regularly.Originally Posted by /ROOT
