Ive decided to do a backflip here and start an Iron Warriors army (coming from Grey Knights (which im not completely stopping)) and i've seen Iron Warriors boxed sets on Ebay. I was wondering....whats the difference between an Iron Warriors boxed set and the ordinary Chaos Space Marines boxed set?

Same plastic's but with metal component's (torso's, head's etc...), pretty good all in all.
''It begs the question; why would the emperor permit something quite so dangerous and untamed to exist? And that would be to take down another Space Marine Legion."
you get all the stuff that's in a boxed CSM with the exception of the mutationsprue.
You also get the following metal components: 4 IW body, 4 IW heads, 1 lascannon and 1 meltagun
I bought two on ebay for cheaper per box then the CSM box in the store. They're great because:
-You get more weapons (LAS!)
-Your army will look unique compared to one with all CSMs
-You don't need (many, if any) mutation sprues with IW
The torsos are ok, but with Chaos you don't see the torso much unless they're CC (which they likely won't be). The shoulder pads are a must, and if you run out (which you will) buy more from bits. They really add to your army.
At least you don't have to learn a new paint scheme eh?
You could do necrons after too, and have 3 armies of silvery doom!

if you can find the Iron Warriors box i highly recommend grabbing it because its not in circulation any more and you have to bitz order. ebay is wonderful at times for that exact reason. with Iron warriors the box is perfect if you like special/heavy weapons with all the options it comes with, i found 4 boxes is a nice mix and gives you all your weapons options you should need for marines.
