Hey all. Just wanted to show you my Iron Warriors progressing as the paint dries on my tanks. They're not finished, but feel free to give advise.

they look really good! very dark and cool
the only qualm i have is with the biker lord, i didn't think Iron Warriors got mutated, they just replaced the mutated parts.
theres my 2 cents

I am curious how you painted the flesh on the obliterators and bike lord, it looks very good!
They are very clean to, no smudges, runs or mistakes (that I could see). Very good!
When doing the first coat of dwarf flesh on the oblits, if you put on just one layer (black will show through the flesh) then it will look more like my oblits when done. If you put the dwarf flesh either on thick enough (no water) or two coats so that it covers all the black it will look more like my Bike Lord's Arm. Those are the primary differences between the two fleshes.
(Just primed and then base coated). How do you like my Basilisk conversion? Chaos-y enough?

They look good man, and I would say it looks Chaosy enough
Were you planning on puting glossy varnish in the Obliterators skin parts and matt varnish on the armor? I think that would make the skin look extra icky and gooey and look very sweet.
I like how you used a more "Dark" metal color for the generic armor. Very cool. (Feels good to get the first guys out of the way, hey? hehe)

Hey man, let me start by saying it's a good job and they look nice.
Now though, there are some critical points I should make, though it depends on what result you're looking for. Tabletop or better.
If you're after a tabletop quality result, then I think you have it. If you are going for a higher standard, then these are my pointers for improvement.
I noticed that there seemed to be a lack of highlighting and shading on the armour. On faces, arms, oblits, etc it was all there. However the armour looked like the paint was flat on without shading or highlighting. However, I know that task is more difficult since you're working with metalics. It may be that to overcome it you can (say on the gold trim) paint it gold, dull it down with a ink wash, then highlight with the original colour to help give more depth to the mini.
Secondly, on the bikes I noticed a few mould lines, especially on the exhaust.
But that's my nit picking done.
In all it's fine work and it's neat, which is so often the difference between good and ugly!!!
Keep up the fine work!!
Diabolus fecit, ut id facerem!
Um, may I ask how you achieved that dark metallic troop color? It makes the CSM look badder than they are. :]
Is it simply Boltgun Metal mixed with Chaos Black?
Nice to see them painted up Shaol!
I remember when they were just naked models.. aah, you've made Papa Karmoon so proud
Very cool though. Have you tried washing effects and other stuff on the silver bits?
