I must be blind, but I can't find the entry that states how far a rhino can move in a turn... i'm thinking 12"? As for bikes, it doesn't say how far they can assault so I am assuming its 6".
Also, can Rhino passengers disembark and charge? The big rule book says it can if it is a Land Raider or one of its variants... i'm thinking that a Rhino is a variant but i've never used one so i have no clue.
You'll have to check the BGB for the movement rates. Check the unit type, then compare them to the rules found in the BGB. For instance, the Rhino is classed as a Tank, so in the vehicle section of the BGB it'll tell you how far a Tank can move each round, and what weapons it can fire etc.
Some goes for the Bikes.
As for the Land Raider question - No, the Rhino is not a variant of it. Only things actually named "Land Raider X" are variants. Right now there are only two - the basic Land Raider, and the Land Raider Crusader. Chaos only has access to the basic Land Raider.
Edit - Page references for the BGB
Page 61 has the rules for the vehicle movement, and page 53 for the Bikers.
Actually, I think there are 4 variants of the Land Raider.
Regular, Crusader, Helios, Promethius
But as an answer to the question, no, the Land Raider and Rhino are completely different from each other as far as design goes.
Why would one think the Rhino is a Land Raider Variant? Look at the two right next to each other and you'll see how far from the truth that is.
The individual unit doesn't need to have it's movement rate stated every time you see it in any Codex. The type letd you know where to look in the BGB. It's an easier way than saying "Rhino does this, Predator does this, Dreadnaught does this, Defiler does this, etc."
Just look in the BGB for movement. Unless the Codex says you can do otherwise, follow it for the stuff.
