I am more or less happy with my HQ+HS (they'll stick together, unleasing a torrent of boltery death, 14 shots at 36").
But my close combat squad has suddenly stated to make me wonder if it is good.
1. Should I change the powerfist to a power weapon, drop D. strength and mark the whole squad? Will my plasma pistols provide enough anti-tank against CP-allowed vehicles?
2. Plasma pistols themselves. Should I change them to melta guns? I don't really need that extra melta die, do I?
Damn, I was *sure* I was in the army lists subforum. Sorry for misposting. Could you please move that?

I would drop the plasma pistols. They are good, but at low points games, they are a gamble, if you are willing to take said gamble, then fine, it has a good chance of winning back their points. I would put an extra marine in the mix instead of the pistols, but that's just me.
Powerfist is good, drop the daemonic strength, he already has s8, no need for the strength, Put mutation on him instead with the leftover points from dropping the pistol.
Heck, I think even a plasmagun with heavy bolter in here to synergize with the havocs would be good. You could take a plasma gun in the havocs instead of one of the HBs you'd sit back and blast until they got too close and you charge with this squad and the LT to finish them off!
