I'm new to LatD, but I have a question about the AC marks. If I give him MoCU and have him join a unit of mutants, will the whole unit be able to reroll morale tests at his leadership?
Also, whats a good setup for a CP. I am thinking 2 - 3 mutant squads with ACs and 2 traitor squads with some heavy weapons. Maybe a rhino? Maybe LatD aren't a very good CP list lol.
Yes, if the mutant squad is being led by the AC and he has MoCU they will test at his leadership both times.
And I don't have any clue about combat patrol.

I'd load up on as many models as possible for combat patrol
Make it damn difficult for your opponent to get the units finished in one easy blow. Huge squads, mega squads.
I suggest full units of Plague Zombies myself. They're tough, and they'll last awhile.
Traitors are only usefull in gaining access to Leman Russes and Basalisks and sentinels.
You might get lucky with the occasional autocannon of lascannon shot, but traitors are expensive and unsurprisingly very quick to runaway.
Big squads of mutants are always great, but the problem with plague zombies is that, they're slow and can't really do anything apart from get in the way. It's much better to have a mutant boss and aspiring champion in a squad.
Don't forget Chaos hounds and furies too
How should i deal with light vehicles? I was thinking an autocannon or two in a traitor squad would help me with my buddies skimmers.
You guys really think Plague Zombies are that bad. Whenever I use them they're pretty good and can tie up my opponents units for a hell of a long time.

A Champ w/ Fist & a 15-Mutant minimum Unit = 132pt.
So, for CP I'd just take three of those.
Placing 48 models in a 400pt game perplexes certain opponents . . .
So fluff wise.. maybe traitors, sentinels and some rough riders? Don't forget the charismatic aspiring champion who's organising everone
