Urgh, saw this in white dwarf and now it's on ebay. I wish I could afford this. Does anyone here want to take pity on me this christmas while i push my nose against the glass of ebay?
eBay.co.uk: Unique Pro painted - FORGE WORLD --- CHAOS BANEBLADE (item 110065398170 end time 16-Dec-06 20:25:55 GMT)
i see no reason why they would not be able to if your opponent is a decent player in the spirit of the game
if my opponent had this model i would give him kudos for the conversion and fluff wise i don't have a problem with it
either the crew and engineers are corrupted and the tank is stolen
or its abandonded on the battlefield with its self destruction equipment disabled
would be particularly good in an alpha legion force as it fits better
as long as points and stats are exactly as forgeworld version its fair to me given you need permission to use the imperial one anyway

I don't see why not. I'd allow him to use it in a Traitors army, not Chaos Marine. That would be rediculous. Paint job is okay, but not great. Skulls are over done to say the least.
look pretty cool to me but too expensive...
Never interrupt your opponent when you know he is making a mistake!
Its pretty cool and not paintedthe best, but it makes up for it being gory and being unique.

I think it is extremely fluffy. Traitor guardsmen would highly prize a captured bandeblade. I wouldnt mind someone using one at all, providing its just a fun game. Well... let me take that back. It's always fun! I'd allow it and even encourage it for non-tourney play, is what I am saying.
It looks pretty cool, but I'd prefer my own work on it. Just me, maybe.

I feel bad now, it looks like i'm selling it lmao.
On the side of "why to own forgeworld models", i dont think it's the gaming experience, but more the general model skills etc.
A staff member was talking to me about their titan, looked like an absolute monster to build.
Heh, cool model, I especially like the evil goo seeping from every orifice.
