Need help for cheap Daemon Prince

I'm having problems thinking of what to put on my Daemon Prince for my Thousand Sons. I want him to be relatively cheap but if he gets there he still does enough damage to get his points back.

Firstly.. if you want cheap, are you sure you want a daemon prince? Daemon princes are, by their nature, expensive.. Especially when you could get a bolt throwing flying lieutenant and whizz around blasting tanks.

If you must have a daemon prince.. I'd suggest picking a role for him and sticking with it. Do you want to use him as a first-turn distracton? A squad killer? A character on character duellist? Consider the strengths of your army list, what needs bolstering? The chances are a daemon prince can find a niche, but it might take some thinking.

If you look on the main Chaos forum you'll see a whole load of posts right at the top with little paper clips on them.
    They're called stickies

Within these you'll see one called the HQ Configuration Tacita.

It's a great place to start, and it will defintiely get your creative juices flowing.

    *EDIT*

No one likes doing the legwork for other people - it's best to try it yourself and get used to the codex.

Try it! It's fun to be creative. Even if your man fails miserably, next time you'll know how to use it or what not to take etc.

If you're going to respond at all, why not answer first and editorialize later?

Tzeentch Lord w/ Disc, Resilience, PWeapon, BPistol and Wind.

Karmoon's second response was from 'editing.' He kept things in the order in which he posted them.
