Would there be green bloodletter/bloodthristers since orks have green blood?
I thought orks had red blood.. I thought their skin was green because of the algae and stuff.. but inside it was red.. meh, shows how much I know.
It's a great question come to think of it.
Blood for the blood GOD!... now in two fashionable colours!

Shut up and play.
What about blue bloodletters because dont the Tau bleed blue, and dont the nids bleed some funky colors. Ah hell lets just make a tie-die bloodletter unit, who's up for the challenge.
40,000- 7,000 Points Chaos Space Marines=18 and 17
40,000- 2,500 Points Tau Empire=1 and 2
Actually orks *Used* to have green blood in either Rogue Trader of 2nd edition. The powers that be at GW decided to switch the blood to red later on, as they do with a lotta stuff in the 40kverse
@ Kingpin: don't soem nids bleed acid? Or have I just seen aliens too many times? Could you have an acid-based bloodletter? I think that would be cool...
@ titan136 I believe there was a 3rd ed. biomorph for acid blood, yes.
As I see it, daemons of Khorne are the sentient manifestations of the feelings associated with murder/killing/war etc. Therefore, it wouldn't matter much what was killed, but rather the norm of blood as percieved by the being reflected in the warp. On the other hand, if said being killed tyranids/tau so much that he becomes accustomed to that specific kind of blood, then his daemons would be that colour (or a combination thereof). Since Tyranids and Tau are, in essence, soulless, they would not spawn daemons by their emotions (if they have any, of course).
So you could have a particularly insane guy who percieves blood as being tie-die (or what have you), have him go on a killing spree or something to that effect, and voila, special-coloured daemons.
