    Chaos Decals

Hi, i am thinking of finally using some of the decal transfers on my new lieutenant model but I'm not sure which to use. I realize that some of them apply to certain legions so I can't exactly use a world eater's symbol on my alpha legion army for example. My question is... which ones are just cool looking that can go on any model? The skulls or circular yellow snake things maybe? Just looking for some cool design to spice up a shoulderpad.

Ecchu, how's your painting skills? If you are even remotely decent, I would seriously consider painting or using tech pens to inscribe your symbol. The decals will always look like they are stickers and won't blend in with the model. Tech pens work incredibly well. I use them exclusively for putting symbols and the likes on models. You can get them at your local hobby shop or search for them on the net. I use size 02-03 for a chaos marine shoulder pad.

The snake is Thousand Son's, so maybe keep away from it. But then again, it's your army... AL has the multiheaded hydra...and the otherway around...

Eh, I've found if you use a varnish like "Purity Seal" you don't really see the decal that much.

A tiny bit off topic but, does the decal setting agent you can buy make the decals less 'sticker' looking?
