    City fight and DGs

Some friends are planning a 1500pts city fight tournie in a couple of weeks from now. I’ve never played or even watched a city fight, so I got a question.

What type of troops/heavy weapons should/could I bring from a DG army that would do well in city fights?

I can just imagine my normal army list won’t do well there. So any advice or just a short tale of your own experince with city fights would help.

Key things to remember in city fight:

    Cover is everywhere.

Scoring units size is 25% NOT 50%

    Infiltrate/deepstrike takes up valuable strategems.

Nids are TERRIFYING in city fight.

    Mobility is the key.

Smaller squads.. 5-7 man. Flame weapons/doom sirens/ether lances/winds of chaos are all great.

Dreadnoughts really shine in City fight, they get to use their incredible CC weapons.

Close combat is a likely way to resolve the fights.

The board is smaller, so don't rely in indirect fire so much.

Death guard are really good at city fight. True grit all the way.
