    Cheesy for Nurgle or not?

Hello again everybody. I was wondering if the following gifts and wargear was considered cheesy for Nurgle. And if it was, what I could do to change it.

    Daemonic Flight
    Daemonic Stature
    Daemonic Mutation
    Daemonic Strength
    Daemonic Essence
    Nurgle's rot
    Nurgling Infestation
    Man Reaper

    As for the wargear
    Terminator Armor
    Bionics
    Spiky Bits
    Personal Icon.

If this is too much, please let me know.

I'll be damned before the soldiers of the Emperor are just left to rot!

If it doesn't work with the Emperor. Then it's been officially Karmooned!!!

Personally i couldn't care less. However he'd be more cost effective if you drop Mutation for spiky bits. With all those extra attacks you're gonna get a re-roll somewhere.

Also, I don't think you can give a model both Terminator Armour and Flight.

other than not being able to take Termi armor with stature I think you could make a better prince. Don't worry about cheese....people who cry cheese....UGG nevermind.

As the others have mentioned, this lord isn't really cheesy. There are other plague lords that are generally regarded as better, such as the first turn charging lord.

Cheesy is merely a matter of opinion. What's cheesy to one person can be perfectly acceptable to another. I wouldn't get too hung up over it.

However, legal is another matter entirely. There is no 'ifs, ands, or buts' about it. And your Prince is definetly illegal. Beyond just what has already been mentioned, you're also over the Daemonic Gifts limit by 25%, and over the general wargear limit by 15%.

Take a look at page 16, specifically the 'limits' paragraph. Then you can decide which upgrades you want to swap around/drop.

There is no such thing as cheese. If you can legally do it, I don't see what the problem is. Cheesy is just a term used by people who suck at life and can't realize they are losing becuase they are terrible tacticians. If a player knows what they are doing, they should be able to handle any situation, even if its some super scary chaos lord that makes them piss thier pants..

I agree with everything everyone's already said, I agree very much that cheese shouldn't matter at all when considering army lists, if it's really that cheesey that you shouldn't be allwoed to play it then you would be allowed to play it legally (see: Khorne can't infiltrate)

That aside, I think the only thing in that build that's kind of hard to justify in my mind is dæmonic flight, because i always thinking of Nugle as kind of fat and blubbery, but I could actually see like some sort of skinny soldier, eaten away by the plague he's host to, who had either grown wings as part of a mutation as a result of one of his diseases, or as a gift from Nurgle in light of the fact that he could no longer carry his own essentially dead corpse around the battlefield. Everything depends on how you spin it in the end.

Flight can being anything from a jetpack to a magical chaos levitating cape. It's not limited to wings in any fashion IMO.

I personally would switch out flight for speed anyway, unless you plan on taking wind of chaos (which it doesn't seem you will, but I could be wrong). but a funny way of justifying flight on a nurglite model could be that he is so bloated with lighter than air gasses that he is just able to jump, and guide with undersized/rotting away wings

My idea of the flight, was that seeing as how Nurgle is known as the Lord of Flies. I was thinking of modeling my Daemon Prince to look like a giant diseased fly. Wierd I know, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
