Does anyone here besides me play with their own legion with fluff and characters? I was just wondering because i love the individual touches you can put on your own army.

And can you guys explain some color schemes, fluff, etc.

I got my characters named, but my army is regular Iron Warriors (14th Grand Company to be exact), does that count?

I do. My chapter is the Legion of Ourboros.
As far as fluff goes for them they were a large group of Word Bearers who became stranded on a feral world in the retreat to the EOT from Earth. There they became like gods to the human population. Over time their belif structure evolved to encompass the native populations religion. Thus they became the end and the beginning, the dark and light, death and life, the Legion of Ourboros.

i make up my own charactors but i find that creating a colour scheeme that i like is difficult so it is a mix of iron warriors and black legion ( black bodys, silver legs and sholder pads and gold trims ) and i think it looks good actually i might make it a legion . . . if i can think of a name

Yeah, making a color scheme is hard. I finally decided I was going to make mine Regal blue, with ultramarines and enchanted blue highlights, boltgun metal banding, and green for all the hair and stuff. Simple, yet looks surprisingly good when finished. I'll have to post a couple pics of my marines on here soon, when i can get a digital camera that WORKS <_<

blue ??? i think that blue doesn't look good most of the time on some things it does, but i find that what ever colour it is gold looks much better that anything elce on banding

Yeah, i agree, but then my guys would look exactly like night lords.. and i dont want that (bat-wing helmets aint cuttin it) Anyways, the color scheme looks quite good when it's done. Look at the Violators in the new 'dex and you'll get the idea. It looks something similar to that, except brighter highlights..

Mine are called the Preatorian Guards, I'm still fluffing out the story. They are based on the Preatorian guards from Ancient Rome. Only the best of the best are allowed to join, and they only live to protect the Emporer and Empire.

Color scheme is Imperial Purple body, arms, backpack and trimming on the shoulder pads... Black gloves and bottom of there boots. There lower leg armour (from the knee to where it joins the boot) is white along with the shoulder pad. The chest emblems are a mix of metalic silver and bronze.

I know what you mean about the color scheme, I thought about it for weeks before settling on the white/purple...
