Ok Nurgle says you cannot use Raptors.
For possessed it says you can have daemonic flight so I am going to use Raptors as possessed.
Is the okay?
This is fine but they work out very expensive. I prefer Talons for possessed or even use them without an extra demonic gift.
T5 models should never be allowed to fly around.
Especially when they have all the other benefits of possessed >_<
As the Mad Cat from Yorkshire advised - it's expensive. But, if you're carefull with them, the you'll reap many skulls for the skull go.. oh wait on.. wrong Chaos god.. heh heh.
You might need to add to the models for WYSIWYG.. some people might not be happy with accepting that a raptor model can have a MoN.

"Drop emergency bulkheads! Activate compression rams! Set internal bracing! Issue brace for impact alert! I repeat, brace for impact!"

I am using a pure nurgle army. I am going to use them as flank and then blast them away.
I will use my other units to blast away while the other units are fighting my possesed
Are you kidding? Who doesn't like to have 9 guys with each with doombolt/WOC/BOC that can be anywhere between 2 to 6 hundred pointsI think possessed could be a lot of fun for nurgle (wish they were more useful for TS).
I always liked the raptor models and don't think you would have to do too much to make tourny legal. You could always just say nugle mutated their backs to look like jet packs.
The best reason for using possessed with flight is that they are fun. Honestly, I can't think of an army that benefits from having them, considering their point cost. The good thing about Warhammer is that it's comprised of hobbyists, unlike some games, such as Magic ze Gathering. As a hobby, we tend to emphasize fluff, painting, and fun over the competitive nature of an army.
I'm not trying to knock winged possessed, even though I don't believe they're worth their slot, so much as re-affirming the quintessential essence of the game as a hobby.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
I have zero love for Possessed with Wings. I see no reason to take them.
Did you know that for the price of one Possessed with Wings, you can have a Chosen Aspiring Champion with Daemonic Flight? You do lose out on the Strength 5 and the invulnerable save, but make up for it with the extra attack per model, access to the Armoury, and most importantly, access to Veteran Skills.
Just my take on it. If you're already going to spend 40+ points per model, might as well get the most out of them.
Flight on possessed is a bit much, although Nurgle lacks anything that can really move outside of Rhinos. There might be some justification for giving them flight in there, but it's pretty flimsy.
