I am a Dark Eldar player and wanted to get your opinion on a particular rule that occured in my game against an Iron Warriors army. In fact I do not know if it was blood frenzy or blood fury but it was the one where the Dready has to move towards the nearest enemy unit.
Question is: How long does blood fury last? The whole turn (his assault phase and my assault phase) or only in his assault phase.
What happened was in the top of the 3rd turn the Dready became Blood Frenzied and moved - it did not reach any enemy units. I wanted to charge the Dread but we were not sure if he was still frenzied in my (DE) assault phase.
I did let him have the frenzy but still wanted to know if we played that right. What do all you all think?
The wording in the coex (p. 35) is, "The dread may not fire this turn, but instead must move 6+d6" towards the nearest enemy model or unit."
Frenzy only lasts during that chaos player's turn and not the entire round.
