I'm halfway through turning my SM Chapter to chaos. I'm thinking slaanesh, so does anyone have any advice I could use? There's no problems with using emperor's children rules.
My army so far:
1 lietennant with some kind of great weapon- looking thing
2 squads of 6 csm's with aspiring champions (1 power fist, 1 power weapon) and unit icons, all with bolt pistols + close combat weapons
6 daemonnetes (but I'm planning to get more so they aren't favoured)
Predator that I'm converting to have a blastmaster
Some people like to criticize EC with having small squads sometimes, so if you find that your squad is too small for you liking just doouble it up to 12.
Looks nice to me although I think you are lacking some anti-tank ability in your army so far, but otherwise it looks great!
It's not Raymond Luxury Yacht, It's pronounced throat wobbler mangrove.

My elvish name is Maeglin Meneldur.
Anyone got any thoughs on what I could add? I've worked it out (guessing some of the upgrade costs) as about 700 points, including a daemon prince made from the torso of the fantasy model and the red terror's tail. What could I add to get to 1000?
Havocs with Sonic Blasters and/or Blastmasters. You're lacking in the heavy weaponry.
I would also recomend a second squad of daemonettes. Cant go wrong with them, though 1 unit of 12 would probably be better. And havocs as has already been pointed out. Keeper of secrets is also a great addition when you evenbtually bump it up to 1500. great model too IMO.
That's cool, but I'd want to stay away from 2 HQ's and having more troops (It fits in more with my style of play, playing mostly nids). Would a squad full of sonic blasters/blastmasters be worth it? I know i'm lacking some fire support, but I'll probably get that from the pred and daemon prince
You should think about adding a dred to that army. Plop on a warp amp and a blasphemous rune and you have yourself a killing machine that will send all but the most fearless running. I'm not going to recommend a weapon since I don't know who you normally game against. A mutated hull can never hurt, but for 30 points you might have something else in mind.

Sonic blasters and blastmasters are worth every penny in my book. You should see my opponents face when I start to role shooting. Considering that even when I move, every friggin troop I have can shoot twice 24-36 inches, and 3 times plus templates when stationary. The sonic blaster is like a storm bolter on steroids for only 5 pts. My havoc squad that has 6 sonic blasters, 4 blastmasters, a rhino with mutated hull and havoc launcher does more damage per pt cost then anything in my army.
So, take em if you can afford to buy the pieces. I use mostly the old style noise marines, but have converted many standard CSM with just the sonic blaster or blastmaster arms from GW archive.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
